On 6-7 September, PROCAREFUL partners met in Ljubljana for the co-creation session for the development of a PROCAREFUL hybrid model to support homecare services.

Tijana Rakočević, born in 1995 in Montenegro, is a poet, playwright, and writer of fiction as well as a doctoral student at the Faculty of Philology in Nikšić and a member of the editorial board of the literary and cultural newspaper Fokalizator.

The Young Bled Strategic Forum, held on 25-28 August, saw over 40 young leaders from diverse backgrounds convene in a spirit of cooperation, dialogue, and empowerment.

The inaugural gathering on the CEI Youth Agenda was organised on the sidelines of the 18th Bled Strategic Forum (BSF) in Bled, Slovenia on 29 August. The meeting brought together institutional representatives designated by CEI Member States, responsible for shaping youth policies, education, and other vital youth-related matters.

The CEI National Coordinators have recently approved two new Technical Cooperation Projects (TCs), to be funded under the CEI Fund at the EBRD, entirely financed by the Italian Government, through a total grant worth 500,000 EUR.
Public and private institutions registered in a CEI Member State, NGOs/CSOs as well as international organisations, are invited to apply to the CEI Cooperation Fund which is financed by annual contributions of all CEI Member States for innovative actions favouring mobility and networking.
The action has been carried out under the guidance of the Business and Professional Women CR (BPWCR) organising the Prague conference.
On 26 July the CEI-Executive Secretariat took part in a roundtable organised in Udine within the Mittelfest – a renowned cultural festival in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, which confirms the special relations of this Region with neighbouring countries in geographical, historical and cultural terms.  
The projects - to be financed through a total grant worth 1.5 million EUR - will support Moldova, North Macedonia, Ukraine and the Balkan Region, respectively in the fields of enterprise development, transport, energy and capacity building.
On 18 July, the CEI – Executive Secretariat and the Moldovan CEI Presidency - through the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Moldova - organised an official side-event at the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York on “Regional cooperation and acceleration of the SDGs implementation: The Role of the Central European Initiative (CEI)”.
The Warmia and Mazury Region (Poland) successfully implemented a crucial project titled "Training Ukrainian firefighters - saving Ukrainian lives"  aimed at enhancing the skills of Ukrainian volunteer firefighters. From 10 to 15 July, a comprehensive training programme was organised to equip the volunteers from Rivne Oblast with vital firefighting techniques.
The "Aurel Vlaicu" Theoretical High School in Romania, 2nd place winner of the 2022 edition of Call for Ideas and Award Competition “ IMAGINE!” Active Young Citizens for Sustainable Development in CEI and AII Areas for their project “Become the best version of yourself, be non-formal!”[1] has used its award of €20.000 to visit the United Nations headquarters in Geneva in April this year.

Parliamentary delegations from CEI countries gathered in Łańcut, Poland on 3-4 July for their meeting of the General Committee on Cultural Affairs of the CEI Parliamentary Dimension.

Promoting science, knowledge and health, and helping young researchers and scientists from low income countries to present their research, connect with researchers from developed countries and become part of the international scientific community.

Analysing the potential transport demand for planning a direct train service linking Trieste Centrale to Rijeka (HR) was the focus of the gathering held at the CEI-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) premises on 26 June.

19 young female leaders from CEI Member States participated in a set of courses on “Women and Political Influence: Building Successful Advocacy Campaigns”, held online on 2 June and in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 16-18 June.

On 11-16 June in Varna, Bulgaria, the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) organised the 23rd edition of its annual cross-sectoral forum - the Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals, under the title “Future Scenarios for Central and Eastern Europe in Times of Uncertainty”. 
The MIMOSA project (MarItime and MultimOdal Sustainable pAssenger transport solutions and services) has successfully come to an end after three and a half years, thanks to an ample partnership of more than 50 people committed to sustainability and to improving passenger transport mobility.

The XI edition of international the Spring School (Trieste, 5-8 June)  "IoT, economic and management challenges for e-health integration in the enlarged Europe" witnessed the participation of 28 participants and 14 professors and experts in Biomedical and Clinical engineering from CEI Member States.

On 8 June, in Brussels, the CEI-Executive Secretariat participated in the General Assembly (GA) meeting of the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA), a long-standing collaborator and full-fledged partner since 2022.
