Gender equality has been a CEI core value since its establishment more than three decades ago, as well as an overarching goal of all regional cooperation initiatives promoted by our Organisation.
Since 2021, the CEI-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) has been working on the elaboration of a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) to define a clear roadmap for promoting actions in this field. It enables us to promote gender equality, both within our constituency and in the context of the various CEI structures, starting from the Executive Secretariat – and thus helps us strengthen our impact on gender responsive regional cooperation.
