In order to honour and encourage initiatives and activities of talented and often young people from CEI Member States, several CEI Prizes are offered.

It aims at honouring the work carried out by investigative journalists and their contribution to investigative reporting despite the difficult conditions under which they often have to operate. Organised in cooperation with SEEMO, the CEI Secretariat is in charge of the overall coordination.

Young Professional Journalists

Promoted in the context of the Vilenica International Literary Festival, it aims at encouraging cross-border cooperation and promotion in the field of literature for young writers from CEI countries.

Promoted by the Alpe Adria Association, the CEI prize is addressed to film directors from CEI countries.

Katalin Moldovai
Hungary

Organised every two years by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee, the competition is open to designers from all 17 CEI countries as well as from Germany, Turkey and the Baltic Countries. The CEI prize is addressed to the best design from non-EU CEI countries. The jury meeting is usually hosted at the CEI HQ.
