Regional conference on cultural and historical potential in tourism held in Belgrade

The regional conference on "Cultural and Historical Potential in Tourism" took place at the Cultural Center Parobrod in Belgrade, Serbia, on 31 March.    
       
During the event, the following topics were discussed: modern tourism experiences, important quantitative and qualitative changes manifested in the dynamic growth of tourism, the globalisation of the tourism market, the creation of new and more flexible forms of production and consumption of services, economic liberalisation and  fostering fiscal measures.

The gathering was attended by representatives of regional municipalities and of public institutions in charge of tourism as well as by representatives of the private tourism sector. Students were also present and had the chance to get an insight into the latest trends and solutions in the field of tourism.

The conference was part of the manifestation of Jevremova Street, celebrating the Municipality day, which included numerous activities for all visitors, i.e. concerts, sports games, awards for the most deserving citizens and a children's carnival.
