Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals on “Future Scenarios for Central and Eastern Europe in Times of Continuous Uncertainty”

Тhe  24th edition of the Summer Seminar for Young Public Policy Professionals, organised by the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) was held on 16-21 June in Varna, Bulgaria.

This year’s theme “Future Scenarios for Central and Eastern Europe in Times of Continuous Uncertainty” brought together a diverse group of 33 participants from various state institutions and policy-oriented research centers from countries in Central and Eastern Europe for discussing contemporary good governance topics and current issues on the EU agenda and the global scene, as well as to outline strategic visions for the connectivity in the CEE region. Among the topics dealt with green and digital transition, industrial decarbonisation policy, good governance and public policy innovation, AI implications in defence and societal resilience,

Traditionally, speakers and lecturers at the international forum were prominent experts with extensive experience and expertise from EU and national institutions, academia and research centers from Central and Eastern Europe.
