About 120 lecturers and participants from 10 countries (Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria) attended the 6th CEI South East Europe Health, Wellness and Spa Conference - Regional Chances and Challenges, on 18 November, 2014 in Belgrade. The Conference was organised by the Health, Wellness and Spa Cluster Serbia (Wellness Cluster) with the support of the CEI and the Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
Main topics of the Conference were: best practices in promoting health, wellness and spa tourism, clustering and spa tourism in South East Europe.
The Conference was opened by Srđan Miljković, First Councilor in the Sector for the European Union in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Miljković underlined that numerous activities, international seminars and projects in Serbia had been supported by the CEI Cooperation Fund and with the commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
Along with the Conference, B2B meetings were arranged with the involvement of leading wellness and spa hotels and thermal spas from Hungary and Serbia as well as leading tourist agencies and tour operators from Serbian companies.
