On 8 June, in Brussels, the CEI-Executive Secretariat participated in the General Assembly (GA) meeting of the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA), a long-standing collaborator and full-fledged partner since 2022.
On the occasion of her mission to Chisinau for the CEI Parliamentary Committee Meeting, CEI Deputy Secretary General Ivana Holoubková visited the office of ALDA - European Association for Local Democracy in Moldova on 24 May, and met with Alexandru Coica, Head of Unit.
On 26 October, the Bulgarian CEI Presidency - in cooperation with the CEI-Executive Secretariat, and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - organised an informal event in the context of the Local Dimension, the youngest operational pillar of the CEI, as a follow up to the discussions held during the 1st CEI Local Authorities Congress in Sofia on 8 June 2022.
