The CEI-Executive Secretariat together with Italy, holding this year's CEI Presidency, is organising a CEI side–event at the margins of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development 2019. The event, under the title “The contribution of regional cooperation and partnerships to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda: the experience of the Central European Initiative”, is taking place on 17 July 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The European Union & Legal Reform Summer School, at its 16th edition, is a weeklong post-graduate course organised in Igalo (Montenegro) on 7-13 July by the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development (CCSDD) in cooperation with the Institute of Social Sciences Belgrade and supported by the CEI through its Cooperation Fund.

The kick-off meeting of the project CELEBio (Central Europe Leaders in Bioeconomy Network) co-financed by the Horizon 2020 programme and led by the CEI Executive Secretariat, is taking place at the CEI Headquarters on 27-28 June. The project partners will discuss the envisaged project cycle and the first steps to be taken in its implementation.
