The Meeting of the CEI-PD Parliamentary Assembly under the title "Developing Infrastructures for More Competitive Businesses in the CEI Area" is taking place in Rome on 7-8 November 2019. 

The event is organised for the purpose of marking the end of the decade in curbing corruption. A signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between CEI and Regional Anticorruption Initiative (RAI), gathering professionals from both the civil sector and governments in CEI countries is envisaged.

The Forum taking place on 15 November represents a first relevant follow-up of the Trieste Declaration adopted by our Ministers of Foreign Affairs on 12 June 2019, aimed at reinforcing the CEI Business Dimension, in order to promote trade and investments in the region, and at fostering strategic cooperation and joint investments in infrastructural projects for the sustainable development of CEI Member States.

The Ministers in charge of Research, Innovation and Higher Education of the Member States of the Central European Initiative (CEI) are meeting in Trieste on 12-13 December,  on the occasion of the CEI Ministerial Conference on Science and Research under the Italian CEI Presidency.

Hosted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, the gathering acknowledges the recommendations included in the Trieste Declaration endorsed by the CEI Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Trieste on 12 June, 2019.

The main objective of the project is to promote the transfer of best practices and new technologies in the prevention and protection from natural and environmental risks through an exchange between the Italian civil protection and Moldovan institutions.

The risks tackled by the project are floods, landslides, earthquakes, and forest fires.
