The meeting on Biodiversity Protection across Borders is taking place in Zagreb, Croatia on 27 March 2020. The aim of the meeting is to train and support civil society in non-EU CEI countries in the Western Balkans and to transfer know-how from EU to non-EU CEI Member States. Furthermore, the meeting will focus on the knowledge exchange and discussions about natural capital and biodiversity protection in relation to EEI (Extractive and Energy Industries) developments.

The CEI Foodie Dialogues conference is taking place in Komarovo, Belarus on 24-28 March. Three-day long event - gathering participants and speakers from the EU and non-EU CEI Member States - will focus on the needs of the marginalised, outlying rural communities and nature sensitive areas, highlighting the importance of the “eat local” concept, with new culinary tourism as a global trend.

The CEI, through its Cooperation Fund, supports the co-production forum “When East Meets West”, taking place in Trieste on 19-21 January.

22 film projects from 17 countries will be presented at this year's special 10th anniversary edition bringing together more than 500 industry professionals from over 40 European countries, particularly from the 2020 East & West spotlight territories: Hungary, Moldova and Romania and Austria, Germany as well as Switzerland.
