The 3rd CNC Meeting held under the CEI Croatian Presidency took place in Trieste, at the CEI HQ, on 30 May. The participants focused on recent and forthcoming events of both the CEI Presidency and of the Secretariat, in particular on the preparation of the Meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs in Split on 11 June.
They continued their discussions regarding the implementation of the CEI Plan of Action 2018-2020, with special focus on the realisation of tangible activities and projects. Strengthening relations with Member States and International Institutions was also on top of the agenda.
The CEI Secretariat informed the CNC about the outcome of the Call for CEI Cooperation Activities (deadline: 8 May 2018), i.e. number of applications received and the requested support.
The President of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedriga, gave a welcome speech praising the good cooperation established over the years with the CEI and confirming the support of the Region for the implementation of relevant activities.
