Around 100 representatives from more than 60 projects participated in the Joint Communication Training coorganised by the South East Europe (SEE) and Mediterranean Transnational Programmes (MED) on 2-3 June in Bled (Slovenia). The CEI was represented by two staff members, from the ACROSSEE (SEE) and WIDER (MED) projects respectively.
During the two-days training, the communication managers of SEE and MED had a chance to learn how to fine-tune their communication strategies; best use Social Media for the project purposes; best organise their Final Events; use Story-telling to disseminate their project results; and best advocate their projects at EU level. Apart from the practical workshops and learning sessions, ample networking opportunities set the stage for a valuable exchange of knowledge and experience between SEE and MED project officers.
The experience gathered and lessons learned will serve as an useful guideline for the implementation of the ACROSSEE final conference as well as for the effective use of the communication tools suggested.
