The International Design Contest Trieste Contemporanea aims at displaying the most original design offerings from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
The Contest 2014, organised by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee, is held under the patronage of the CEI and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It avails itself of the collaboration of the Museum of Architecture and Design–Ljubljana (BIO 50, 24th Biennial of Design), the Institute for Contemporary Art–Zagreb and the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale–Trieste.
The Contest envisages several prizes. The CEI Prize (3.000 EUR) is addressed to the best design from non-EU CEI countries.
