The Central European Initiative is glad to announce a new Call for Proposals in the framework of its Know‐How Exchange Programme (KEP). The projects will be co‐financed with funding made available by the CEI Fund at the EBRD, entirely contributed by the Italian Government.
Public and private sector bodies, international and non‐governmental organisations operating in the public interest are invited to apply for CEI co-financing by 15 July 2014.
Launched in 2004, the CEI Know‐how Exchange Programme (KEP) is a development instrument aimed to support transfer of experience from organisations in the EU to peers in the non‐EU countries within the CEI region. The rationale of the programme is based on the assumption that economic development in non‐EU countries can be strengthened through the transfer of best practices and benchmarks already in place in more advanced economies. These transfers could have an invaluable impact by ensuring social cohesion and economic dynamism in the region.
