DESIGN-MTS project: CEI contributes to raising awareness of corporate social responsibility in region

Endorsed and co-funded by the European Commission under the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, DESIGN-MTS – Defining Social responsibility Interventions for a Grounded Networking in Machine Tool Sector is ending on 31 December 2014. The project was led by the University of Macerata in partnership with CECIMO, CSR-Europe, IRES and the University of Nottingham and the CEI.

DESIGN-MTS Conference at LAMIERA Trade Show 2014 in Bologna

On 15 May 2014, the CEI participated in the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting of the “Defining Social responsibility Interventions for Grounded Networking in Machine Tools Sector (DESIGN-MTS)” project, co-financed by the EU Competitiveness and Innovation Programme.

DESIGN-MTS 2nd Steering Committee Meeting in Brussels, Belgium

The 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the DESIGN-MTS Project was held on 13 December in Brussels at the premises of CSR Europe, Project Partner. The partnership consortium discussed the ongoing activities and the results achieved so far, i.e. the Existing Analysis Report and the European Best Practices Report. Special focus was given to the elaboration of the draft sector-wide joint set of commitments as well as to the forthcoming operational activities.
