CEI-supported 7th International Master in Public Procurement Management: opening ceremony scheduled in Rome

The 7th edition of the International Master in Public Procurement Management (IMPPM) will kick off at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome on 5 March. The IMPPM is jointly organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the University of Rome ToR Vergata (Italy) and co-financed by the CEI Fund at the EBRD contributed by Italy. At the opening ceremony, a keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Antonio Capobianco, Acting Head of the OECD Competion Division.

The CEI, through its Technical Cooperation assistance, grants scholarships amounting to EUR 60,000, to procurement professionals from CEI Member States participating in this Master's. The main goal of the CEI support is to address the governance of public procurement, as well as the capacity of human resources managing procurement in CEI countries. This in order to raise the academic level and training of public procurement officials, from different backgrounds.

The CEI has been co-financing this Master’s Programme since its launch in 2012.
