László Krasznahorkai, winner of the Vilenica 2014 Award, is the special guest of the Vilenica pre-opening event taking place on 2 September 2014, at the CEI Headquarters in Trieste. The event is organised by the Slovene Writers' Association in cooperation with the CEI and Group 85.

Born in 1954 in Gyula, Hungary, Krasznahorkai is one of the most notable contemporary Hungarian authors of international stature.
