The Task Force is a joint initiative between the CEI-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) and the WHO Regional Office for Europe. Its objective is to address the COVID-19 emergency through common actions aimed at mitigating the impact of this outbreak on the populations through stepping up a regional coordination.
The first meeting will be used to set the basis for the future development of the TF activities. The CEI-ES will introduction the purpose and functioning of the Task Force followed by the WHO’s insight into the current state of knowledge on the epicurve; response readiness; and available instruments.
Special focus on:
- country presentations on the state of the epidemic
- presentation of the priorities for the Working Groups
- organisation of the future work of the Task Force
