Extraordinary Summit of the CEI Heads of Government

The Heads of Government of the CEI Member States are gathering on 15 May for an extraordinary virtual meeting amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be chaired by Montenegro holding the 2020 CEI Presidency and organised together with the CEI-Executive Secretariat and in cooperation with the WHO Regional Office for Europe.  

Discussions will focus on the most imminent and far-reaching issues of COVID-19, tackling public health, socio-economic consequences and coordination in the region, with the ultimate goal of leaving no one behind. In this regard, particular attention will be paid to the informal sector and most vulnerable groups such as women, the elderly and youth.
