WBC-INCO.NET Project: Final Conference held in Vienna

The WBC-INCO.NET Final Conference "Towards 2020: New Horizons for RTD and Western Innovation in the Balkan Region” was held in Vienna on 27-28 March 2014, bringing together about 200 science policymakers, scientists and industry representatives from the Western Balkans and EU Member States. The main focus of the event was on the EU Framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020, and on the collaboration in the field of science between Western Balkan Countries (WBC) and EU countries.

Opening “Trieste Science System” to scientific communities of CEI countries

The Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium  (C-ERIC) - a Project led by Synchrotron aimed at facilitating access of Scientific Communities of CEI Member States to the Synchrotron Radiation Laboratories (Elettra) and to the Free Electron Laser Laboratories (Fermi) - will be based in Trieste.
