ADRIPASS Project mentioned as a best example funded by ADRION Programme 

The 2nd Report on the implementation of EU macro-regional strategies  - from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions - was adopted on 29 January. The annex accompanying the report mentions as best examples three projects funded by the ADRION Programme, currently under implementation, in the area of transport and innovation.

One of the projects is ADRIPASS (Integrating multimodal connections in the Adriatic-Ionian region), coordinated by the CEI-Executive Secretariat (Lead partner), which aims at improving maritime - hinterland freight connections to boost growth and economic development of the transport sector in the ADRION region.
