The press conference held on 31 August in Gradiška, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the framework of the KEP AUSTRIA Project Development of the ICT business incubator in Gradiška reaffirmed the importance of promoting entrepreneurship and providing assistance to young entrepreneurs, newly established companies as well as to experienced firms.
On the occasion of its official launch, Project Manager Igor Trivić, highlighted that "Business Incubator Gradiška has the aim to help formation, grouping and development of companies in their own space, which are based on knowledge, innovation and which will contribute to the economic growth generated by technology advanced business solutions, highly-qualified and motivated labour force with increased capability for participating in international business".
The project partners, the Institute of the Advanced Technologies and Communication Murska Sobota in Slovenia and the Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje in Croatia, whose role was to transfer the good practices from similar incubators in Morska Sobota (Slovenia) and Čakovac (Croatia) have worked on the management as well as on the elaboration of analysis and strategic documents for the Business Incubator Gradišk.
In this context, as a part of knowledge sharing, three sets of training workshops were organised for 10 local staff members who will be managing the Incubator, i.e. on strategic planning (16-18 April, 2015) on business planning (28-30 April, 2015) and on project management (26-27 May, 2015).
A Public call for the selection of the Incubator Tennats, has recently been published on the official web page of the Municipality Gradiška, which will give entrepreneurs access to high-speed internet and all other favourable conditions for a company’s well funcioning.

The Business Incubator Gradiska is a result of the project “Development of the ICT business incubator in Gradiška” supported by KEP AUSTRIA - part of CEI Know-how Exchange Programme - with funding provided by the Austrian Development Cooperation with a grant of around 44.000 EUR (based on an agreement between the Central European Initiative and Austrian Development Agency). The Programme aims at promoting capacity building and technical assistance through know-how transfer from CEI EU to CEI non-EU Member States.
